Just a short jaunt off picturesque Highway 24, 10 minutes NE from Bridge Lake Provincial Park, and centrally located within this scenic and historic area named the "Fishing Highway". Hwy 24 follows a trail originally used by the Shuswap people as a trading route, and then in the early 19th century developed by Hudson’s Bay Company to bring furs from the northern BC region to Fort Kamloops and the Columbia River.
In addition to some of the best fishing in the Interior of BC, this route offers seemingly endless wilderness with boundless outdoor opportunities such as bird watching, boating, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATVing, swimming and many other activities. Full hookup sites, WiFi, onsite trailer rentals, ATV/boat/Paddleboard rentals available.
(In winter, there is also snowmobiling, snowshoeing and ice fishing.)
You’ll find this scenic route dotted with dozens of lakes, plenty of picnic areas, cafes, local quaint shops and other points of interest.
