a quick weekend getaway. Shuswap Provincial Park lies on the old
delta of Scotch Creek. This popular tourist destination has one kilometer
(.6mi) of sandy beach, a large grass recreation area, a boat launch
and a self-guiding nature trail. Best of all, the park includes Copper
Island – which has its own 2.8 km (1.7mi) hiking trail). The
town of Scotch Creek compliments Shuswap Provincial Park well by
